Now I know there seems to be a bit of a food invasion on here recently but let’s face it… Food and beer are the tag team champions of pairings on a night out!
Along with a few work friends, who go by the collective group name of ‘Burger Club’, I spent some time in Bethnal Green this last Friday night in search of a new burger place to battle against the previously visited and tested MEATLiquor. So after researching and putting together a small list of well regarded burger venues we travelled to The Seabright Arms to sample Lucky Chips meaty delights!
It was double win for me as The Seabright Arms not only was the home of Lucky Chip but also has an impressive range of real ale and craft beer! London Fields, Peckhams Brick Brewery, ELB, Evil Twin, Broklyn Brewery and many more could be found at thr bar.
The burgers, for me, was the best I’ve had in years! You could taste every ingredient in the perfectly crisp bun!
The pub itself is a lovely classic wooden affair with lots of space, a main stirring area infront of the bar and also a small sitting room around the corner. We were lucky as it was around 7ish on a Friday night and we just got a table! There is also a music venue downstairs.
The outside is a little odd to some maybe as it is blacked out completely! Windows and walls all painted black maybe to keep the inside a hidden treasure!
The burgers alone are good enough reason to return but the selection of ales and surroundings will keep you in the Seabright Arms all evening!
